Advanced Photonix, Inc.(R) (NYSE Alternext US: API) will participate in the Needham and Company Eleventh Annual Growth Stock Conference to be held January 6-8, 2009 at The New York Palace Hotel. API's Chairman and CEO, Rick Kurtz, will present at the conference at 11:30am ET on Wednesday, January 7. Management will also participate in a question and answer session following the presentation and one-on-one meetings throughout the day.
